Week of Hope a Success!

This summer was yet another success for the Week of Hope student volunteers with Group Mission Trips. Over the course of 6 weeks, students from various youth groups from around the country came to Cincinnati to serve. Their week is packed with practical acts of love and service and Clermont Senior Services is proud to have them as a partner each year. In total, the Week of Hope students served Clermont Senior Services customer’s with a total of 820 hours over the 6 week period! The group received volunteer assignments from Kathy Angel, Clermont Senior Services Volunteer Coordinator which consisted of visiting the customer homes and performing various tasks such as yard clean-up, landscaping and other needed duties. Kirsten Johnson, Volunteer Coordinator for Week of Hope – Cincinnati was thrilled with the successful partnership and has requested to come back again next year to serve the older adults living in Clermont County.
