The customers at the Lois Brown Dale, Adult Day Services program, recently had the opportunity to recognize the volunteers that brighten their days. The ADS volunteers were invited to a sock hop where they were treated to karaoke, special treats, dancing and a photo booth.
Volunteers play a vital role in the day-to-day operations at the Adult Day Services Center. They often provide entertainment in the form of singing and/or playing an instrument, or they coordinate special programs for the seniors that include tea time, story time or special Christmas visits.
The Adult Day Services program certainly would not be what it is today without the assistance from a group of amazing volunteers!
