We realize the devastating effects social isolation can have on our mental and physical health during times like these. Even though our Lifelong Learning Centers and our Adult Day Care are closed, we’re continuing to develop new and exciting ways to stay connected.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, the customers at our Adult Day Care are meeting virtually, via Zoom. Staff member, Gie, and Volunteer, Cheryl, have teamed up to present a fun, interactive experience. Many volunteers have been present during these meetings to perform music and entertain.
Our Lifelong Learning Centers are also providing opportunities to stay connected! A full list of interactive activities can be found by clicking HERE. The virtual Lifelong Learning calendar is updated as events are added, so continue to check back! Gary Karg, a Volunteer at the Miami Twp. Lifelong Learning Center, is offering a virtual cooking class, via Zoom, his first class was very successful!
Many other community partners are offering virtual learning opportunities, as well. To see up to date information regarding Covid-19 resources at Clermont Senior Services and other community resources, click HERE.
