The Southwest Ohio Adult Protective Services (SWAPS) Team recently met on the campus of Clermont Senior Services. The goal of this team is to offer an outlet for Adult Protective Services workers in Southwest Ohio to discuss difficult cases in hopes of supporting neighboring APS partners with their collective insight and expertise. This particular meeting was used to learn about new mental health facilities and discussing possible protocols and procedures for addressing reports of wandering via foot or vehicle by vulnerable elders in our communities.
