Caring for a spouse or parent is physically and emotionally demanding. Caregivers may feel helpless, overwhelmed and need help. We offer a variety of support services to help relieve caregiver stress.
The Caregiver Support Group provides an opportunity for caregivers to meet regularly to exchange information and ideas and to gain emotional support. Caregiving is difficult and support groups have been proven to decrease caregiver stress. It also is a chance to gain education related to community resources and health concerns.
The Caregiver Support Group meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 10:00 – 12:00 at the Adult Day Care Services Building, located next to the Agency’s Administrative offices . Guests are encouraged to call Julie Laughman to register but registration in not required. Julie can be reached at: 513-536-4077.
Watch as caregiver Chris Waltz shares her story.
In-home respite care, provided by a certified home health aide, is available to unpaid 24-hour caregivers.
Our adult day center provides care for frail, elderly adults who cannot stay at home alone.
