The Clermont County Public Library has always been a great partner of Clermont Senior Services. A wonderful example of that partnership happened this winter, when the Library asked patrons to donate warm weather items, such as, gloves, scarves and hats. When we agreed to take the donated items, we had no idea just how generous people would be, it was truly remarkable. On deliver day, Cindy Mahaffey, Assistant Programmer with the Library, helped load 16 large bags of new, donated items for Clermont County Seniors.
Once delivered to Clermont Senior Services, the items were then distributed through the Transportation and Meals on Wheels programs.
Community partnerships like these are changing the landscape of generosity throughout our county. Thank you to the Clermont County Public Library and all their patrons for supporting older adults!
