Clermont Senior Services was recently awarded a grant in the amount of $100,000 from the Ohio Development Services Agency, Housing Assistance Grant Program. CSS was one of only 22 organizations in the state to qualify for this funding. Using these funds, CSS will provide emergency home repairs and handicapped accessibility modifications to homeowners age 60 and older who are at or below 50% of the area median income in Clermont County. It is estimated that the agency will be able to provide repair for 35 units of housing within the County. This is just one example of the many ways Clermont Senior Services works hard to obtain funds to keep the older adult population in their own homes for as long as possible.
