Goshen Police Join Visiting Officers Program
Goshen Police Captain, Don Hampton with Kathy Angel of Clermont Senior Services

Goshen Police Captain, Don Hampton, recently met with Volunteer Coordinator, Kathy Angel at Clermont Senior Services to join the Visiting Officer Program. Several departments have joined the Visiting Officers program, including: Clermont County Sheriff’s Department Union Twp. Police Department Pierce Twp. Police Department Miami Twp. Police Department Milford Police Department

Visiting Officers perform an important community service by visiting older adults in their homes to strengthen community bonds and ensuring the well-being of often, the most isolated individuals in our community.

Visiting Officers communicate regularly with Clermont Senior Services to log their volunteer time and alert Case Managers of any needs they find during their visit. “Resident reaction has been extremely positive,” stated Jennifer Harcourt of Clermont Senior Services, “Our community members love visiting with their local officers and it gives them a sense of security, knowing people care about their safety and well being.”
