During this holiday season, Fitzgerald’s Pharmacy in Bethel and Williamsburg chose to partner with Clermont Senior Services during their annual Thanksgiving food drive.
Customers and employees set a goal to provide 2-3 Thanksgiving dinners that were able to serve 4 people. When the collection was over, they realized they had actually gathered enough for 4 dinners that would serve 6-8 people! Each meal box contained a large variety of the usual Thanksgiving trimmings plus some extras for post-dinner snacking.
Stacey Sandfoss, Pharmacy Relationship Manager, spoke of the new relationship between Fitzgerald’s and Clermont Senior Services, “Being able to say we were working with Clermont Senior Services surely made it easier for us, (to connect with families in need), we are proud to be associated with such a wonderful organization, we really believe what you all are doing there.”
The Thanksgiving food drive was so successful, Fitzgerald’s Pharmacy has agreed to now collect household and personal items for the pantry at Clermont Senior Services. The pantry is full of items needed on a daily basis throughout the year. Some of those items include, cleaning supplies and personal care items.
In addition to giving to Clermont Senior Services, Fitzgerald’s Pharmacy also offers flu shot clinics for local school district employees at no charge, as well as, participating in supporting local 4H clubs and the Adams County Senior Citizens Council.
