George Brown, CEO of Clermont Senior Services (CSS), from 1991-2011, was honored Friday, August 23. George is the second of 3 agency leaders since Lois Brown Dale founded CSS in 1969. This dedication was one of many celebrations in honor of the 50th anniversary.
During an intimate building re-dedication ceremony with family, staff, and past Board Chairs, Cindy Gramke, current CEO, reminisced about the impact Brown had on the Agency, and the Clermont County community.
During Brown’s20 year tenure, Clermont Senior Services grew in scope of services, customers served, and most notably, it grew to offer seven affordable housing buildings for residents over age 62. Those buildings offer 264 units of affordable living, with over 300 on the current waiting list.
After the official sign unveiling and ribbon cutting, guests enjoyed a reception and had a chance to offer congratulations to Brown.
