Billiards Club Receives a Generous Donation

The very billiards program at the Miami Township Lifelong Learning Center is very popular! Every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 12-14 players meet to compete. In March, those players received a wonderful surprise! Watson’s of Cincinnati generously donated a brand new Brunswick pool table with all the accessories for their use! In order to move the older, very heavy table, a team collaboration between players and Mike Kodak along Andrew Claybourn, of Conveyer & Caster took place. A special system was engineered that allows the customers to move the table as needed with ease. It was truly a collaborative effort.

Players were overjoyed and completely shocked at the generosity displayed by Watson’s and their President, Erik Mueller. When asked what this donation meant to the players, we received answers like: “Participating in this program is a great way for us to socialize and get out of the house, this means a lot to us.” and “We’ve made great friends and bonded over this game, it’s just incredible.”
