A record crowd attended the 19th Annual Touching Hearts Gala on Friday, September 7, at Norlyn Manor.
The theme was, once again, the ever-popular, evening in Las Vegas. Guests were treated to an exciting live auction, fantastic entertainment by, Mickey James and the Queen City Crew, raffle baskets and of course, casino game tables! Local 12 Meteorologist, Paul Poteet, served as the Emcee for the evening, he entertained the crowd with his anecdotes and great personality, he even met Santa and begged to be taken off the naughty list for the rainy weather! The presentation of the flag was facilitated by Boy Scout Troop & Cub Scout Pack 304, charter organizations American Legion Post #180 out of Georgetown, Ohio.
Superior Home Care continued to support the agency with their presenting sponsorship and also won bragging rights, as their raffle basket received the most entries from our HOP program basket contest.
The official unveiling of the Clermont Senior Services 50th anniversary logo took place on stage at the Gala. 2019 will mark the 50th year of, “Service with Heart” and Clermont Senior Services is looking forward to making this the best year to date!
Clermont Senior Services can’t thank the community enough for not only supporting the Gala but for their continued support of the Agency for nearly 50 years!
