Volunteers – Making a Difference!

Volunteers at Clermont Senior Services consistently go above and beyond the call of duty to serve older adults in Clermont County. One such group is from Pittsburgh Plate Glass. This amazing group of individuals recently logged 128 volunteer hours in one home! Ryan, Project Manager, has worked for PPG for almost 9 years. Along with Amanda, the Project Coordinator, they enlisted 9 additional volunteers to work on the Customer’s home. Tasks during their visit included: painting the kitchen and living room, painting the outside of the house and making needed repairs to some of the wood. The landscaping was also freshened with flowers and fall decor!

The generosity of the PPG team did not go unnoticed by the customer they were serving, this was truly a whole-home makeover! Many times, these types of tasks are just not possible for the older adults served by Clermont Senior Services and our amazing volunteer teams truly do leave a lasting impact on the lives of each person they assist.
