Volunteer Spotlight

Volunteers are an essential part of the work that takes place at Clermont Senior Services and one of the many selfless volunteers is Marla Goodwin. Marla is a Cincinnati native who serves as a Volunteer Shopper for Clermont Senior Services. Volunteer Shoppers do many things, they grocery shop for seniors who can’t shop for themselves, they may run errands, such as picking up prescriptions at a pharmacy or stamps at the post office. Occasionally, some volunteers take out trash, pick up mail, or perform other simple tasks that may be difficult for an older person. Volunteer Shoppers call regularly to see if their customer has any specific needs. Customers pay for all purchases and volunteers receive mileage reimbursement.

Marla is a Supervisor at American Modern Insurance Group and she enjoys shopping, spending time with family and friends, gardening and watching great movies. Thank you, Marla for being such a great volunteer!
