Clermont Senior Services operates new , safe affordable housing for seniors with six locations throughout Clermont County. A seventh facility is scheduled to open in Batavia in May 2013.

All facilities are similarly designed, offering one-bedroom apartments for independent living. All utilities are included in the monthly rent, which is based on 30% of an individuals monthly income. Residents must be age 62 or older and meet eligibility guidelines.

Rent subsidies are available through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Residents pay 30% of their monthly income for rent. All utilities are included except. telephone and cable TV.

Applicants must be 62 years of age or older with an annual income below $24,050 ($27,500 for two people).
